The University has announced a Partnering Award Programme, aimed at fostering research links between Virginia Tech and the University of Kent. Travel grants of up to $2,000 (about £1,300) are available to help academic staff to forge relationships that will result in the submission of grant proposals for collaborative research projects. The team will be expected to submit a joint funding application within 12 months of receiving a Partnering Award.The money should be used to travel to VT, meet your proposed collaborator and develop your joint funding application.

We will need details of your proposed partnership by 15/9/10 with decisions announced by 1/10/10.
